Demi Lovato rummages through some old photos in her new
video for “Give Your Heart A Break.”
“The song is about not wanting to break the other person’s
heart, and really letting them know that you’re not in this to play games, or
to hurt them – just that you’re there to love them,” the 19-year-old singer and
actress tells E! News.
“I want to put it out there and show that women can be
independent on their own,” Demi added about her nearly makeup-free look. “I
think that’s the best lesson that I’ve learned – to love myself before any
other person.”
“Give Your Heart A Break” is the second single off her
Unbroken album.
